Baggage Transportation

Please ensure that jewellery, cash, and documents be carried on the aircraft with you.

Items prohibited for transportation:

  • explosives and inflammables
  • radioactive and infective materials
  • poisons and mercury-containing items
  • other dangerous items

Items that may be used as weapons (piercing and cutting objects, arbalests, rifles for submarine hunting, replica weapons, etc.) must be transported as baggage only.

Weapons, ammunition and special equipment owned by passengers who have the right to keep and bear them are withdrawn for the flight time and given back at the arrival airport. At Kurumoch International Airport, weapons withdrawn for the flight time is given back by the shift manager of the Aviation Security and Safety Service.

Transportation of liquids and gels

Each container of liquids or gels in your carry on baggage must be 100 millitres or less. All the containers must be placed and sealed in a transparent, no greater than one-litre plastic bag. Passengers are allowed only one plastic bag each. Exemptions are made for medications, baby food and special dietary items.

Baggage requirements

  • Free baggage allowance is normally determined by the Carrier (airline) and varies with your flight destination and service class. Please refer to your airline ticket for your exact baggage allowance (the ALLOW column).
  • An excess baggage charge is required for baggage exceeding the free baggage allowance. For bulky baggage with total linear dimensions exceeding 203 cm or with the weight exceeding 32 kg, please contact the Carrier (airline) or our handling agents in advance.
  • Maximum weight acceptable of any single baggage item must not exceed 50 kg.
  • The maximum dimensions of each cabin baggage item (unchecked baggage) must not exceed 45 x 35 x 15 cm. Maximum weight per item must not be over 5 kg.
  •  In addition to the free baggage allowance in weight, each passenger may carry without charge one item of hand baggage, such as:
    • a handbag or paper folder
    • an overcoat, fur-coat or raincoat
    • an umbrella or walking stick
    • a bunch of flowers
    • some prints for reading
    • baby food
    • a mobile phone
    • a photographic camera, a video camera
    • a laptop computer
    • a suit in a holdall
    • a baby stroller (for a child under the age of 1 year)
    • a folding wheelchair and / or mobility aids for disabled people.
  • Passengers may declare the value of their checked baggage. The charge for the transportation of the valuable baggage is established by the Carrier (airline) and paid in the Airport’s ticket offices.
  • Each airline has its own policies for baggage and cargo transportation, as well as for free baggage allowance. For further information, please contact the chosen airline.

If unclaimed baggage is not collected within 2 days past the arrival date, the Airport may charge you a storage fee.
