Children Transportation
If you are travelling with a child under the age of 14, you must show a handling agent his/her birth certificate. For children over 14 years of age, an individual passport is obligatory.
Children under 18 travelling abroad unaccompanied by adults must have, except for their passport, a notarized letter of consent from their parents, tutors, adopters or guardians to leave the Russian Federation. Children under 6 must be entered into their parent’s passport. Children over 6 who do not have their own passport must have their photo included in a passport of one of their parents travelling with them. In case unaccompanied minors (under 18) are travelling abroad and planning to stay there for more than three months, it is required that they have a notarized letter of consent from their parents or official guardians.
Parents or guardians must complete the necessary forms on arrival at the airport of departure, with the written consent of the Carrier (airline).
