The Polet Football Club consists of three separate playing teams: the junior team, the senior team and the club veterans. The Club itself was formed on the 13th of June 2006 and the founder was Kurumoch International Airport.
This year, and for the fifth year in a row, the Airport's Polet football teams were winners of both regional football tournaments and local futsal matches.
Polet's veteran's team have proved themselves to be sporting ambassadors for the Airport in tournaments held at town, regional and inter-regional levels.
In 2007, in honour of National Aviation Day, the Polet's veteran's team once again demonstrated their football skills when they played determinedly against the veteran's team from the Samara legendary football club Krylya Sovetov, eventually holding them to a 4:4 draw at full time.
In that same year, the team won its first official town futsal tournament and secured their place at the top of the league for that season.
Sponsorship of the Polet Football Club has provided all of the necessary equipment and facilities needed to train its young players, but football is not the only game played. The Club also has sections for table tennis, gymnastic and boxing competitions. In the near future the Club is planning to form its own ski lodge.
